About Me

My name is Abigayle Conner, Abi for short.  I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota with my husband and daughters.  I have a degree in k-12 Art Education, and am currently staying at home with my girls. When I'm not being a mom and wife, which I enjoy the most, I enjoy painting, sewing, crocheting, cooking, eating  and doing anything with a glue gun.

Eli & Ellie started as a small business that produced handmade and crocheted items.  The blog was added in 2009 as a means to keep family members and friends up with our family.  Since then, I have started to add tutorials, recipes, tips and other fun things like reviews and giveaways.  The name "Eli & Ellie" came from our top two list of names for our first daughter before we knew her gender.  She continues to inspire me in every way in life.

Please contact me if you have any questions, comments, or would like me to do a review of your product.  See the "Contact Me" page for ways to find me.

My schedule:
Monday- I will provide a new recipe every Monday.  Some of them are ones that I've made up myself, and others are ones that I've tested out and really liked.
Tuesday- Every Tuesday I will provide a tutorial that either I have made myself, or one that I've tried and found successful.
Wednesday- Every Wednesday I link up to The Pleated Poppy's "What I Wore Wednesday" posting to show what outfits I am choosing to stay out of those sweatpants!
Thursday- Thursdays will include any reviews and/or giveaways that I have.  If I do not have a review or giveaway for that week, the Thursday turns into "Thursday's Thoughts" which is where I will discuss one topic that I believe my readers can relate to, and discuss with me.
Friday- I will be posting several different tips for your family on my Fun Tips Friday events.  I will also be reviewing items when necessary.  Sometimes, if you're lucky, there will also be giveaways!

1,000 gifts-  You will see posts titled "1,000 gifts" on this blog.  I am working to become more positive and am following after a girl that I read about by trying to write daily about gifts that I feel God has given me in my every day life.  It's a way to stay thankful.
