Baby Food Series- Baby Gourmet Baby Food Review & Giveaway

Baby Gourmet is a baby food company that believes only the freshest, best organic fruits and vegetables should go into packaged baby food.  They also believe that baby foods should come in a more interesting combination.  All of their foods are USDA certified organic, and they do not add any sugar, salt, thickeners or fillers.

Stage 1: Simple Purees for 6 mo.+
Stage 2: Yummy Combos for 7 mo.+
Stage 3: Tasty Textures for 8 mo.+

Baby Gourmet sent me a package of 3 food pouches from each stage to help me get Evelynn started on purees.  We began with the stage 1 Pears and Greens, and she really liked it!   I gave it to her without cereal since we are working on just eating fruits and veggies alone.  It was a good thing to start of with because she still got the vegetables, but I think she loved the sweetness of the pears the most.

I really do love that Baby Gourmet makes their foods in interesting combinations.  I wish that our family could enjoy more of them, but as my husband and kids have allergies to orange foods, we were unable to give Evelynn the pouches with sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkin or squash in them.  I'm sure that they are great though!

All of Baby Gourmet's convenient packaging of their resealable pouches is BPA free.  I brought one of the pouches to Evelynn's Grandma and Grandpas for her to eat there.  It was so nice to stick one in my bag and not worry about it opening up all over.  It was also great because I can squeeze a little bit of food out into the spoon as I feed her instead of having to find a bowl and having to clean it all up. She didn't eat the whole pouch, so yet again, I screwed the top back on and threw the pouch back in my bag and didn't worry about spills.  I actually bought a few more pouches for these next few weeks as we have a few plans to eat out with family and friends. They are just so convenient!

Overall we give Baby Gourmet a thumbs up!  My only wish is that we could choose from single ingredient food rather than combinations, but that's only because of our allergies.
