Rockin' Green Review and Giveaway

Rockin' Green is a company that believes that "Mother Earth is Rockin' and we should take care of her!" They make eco-friendly cleaning products that are better for the earth, and better for your home.  Rockin' Green is most commonly known for their laundry detergent specially formulated to better clean cloth diapers in a safer way.

Their main product is laundry detergent made in 3 formulas for different types of water: soft rock for soft water, classic rock for normal water, and hard rock for hard water.  All of these formulas come in different all natural scents, which all have quirky names such as: Bare Naked Babies (which is unscented), Earth Wind & Orchids, Rage Against the Raspberry, Motley Clean, and Smashing Watermelons.

Not only does Rockin' Green make laundry detergent for regular clothing and cloth diapers, but it also has a detergent specifically for dogs.  Their Dog House Rock cleans dog beds and toys with a enzyme, SLS, and phosphate free formula.  So no one in the family is left behind when going Green!

Trying it out:
My baby, Evelynn, has some pretty sensitive skin, so I've been on the search for detergent that is safe for her.  Since Rockin' Green created their detergent for cloth diapers and sensitive skin, I thought it'd be a perfect opportunity to try it out on Evie's clothes. Rockin' Green sent me 3 Sample Remix packets to try out.  I chose the Classic Rock formula in Lavender Mint Revival, Motley Clean, and Bare Naked Babies. I do most of my laundry on the weekend (up to 7 loads) so I put them to the test.

I used Lavender Mint Revival on my clothes since Matt isn't a huge fan of Lavender Mint.  I love the way they smell.  We usually use a cheap generic brand detergent on our clothes since we spend more money on detergent for the girls.  My clothes not only smell awesome, but they even feel cleaner! My husband chose to have his clothes washed in Motley Clean, and really loved the way they smelled when they came out of the dryer.  We both felt really great about using Rockin' Green detergent because we knew that we weren't watching something harmful go down our drains.

Right after I did a load of Evelynn's clothes with Bare Naked Babies,  I put a pajama set on her.  She has had it on for about 5 hours now, and no reaction.  I think we may have a winner!  I think this detergent would be great for those who cloth diaper, as it has specific directions on how to get the most out of the detergent and your diapers as a pair.
