recipe Monday

We had this one for dinner tonight:

Spicy Lucy's-
1 lb. ground beef
3-4 slices of american cheese
1/4 c. minced jalapenos
3 slices of bacon chopped into smaller pieces (to make it easy, get the pre-cooked microwave kind)
1 pinch of salt
1 pinch of pepper
1 t. minced garlic
1 t. worcestershire sauce

Preparation:
Prepare your grill. Mix ground beef, garlic, worcestershire sauce, salt & pepper. Take enough for 1 patty, and break in half. Take halves and make into thin patties. In the middle of the 1st patty place 1/2 slice of cheese broken into smaller pieces that fit, as much jalapenos that suit your fancy, and about 1 t. of chopped bacon. Place 2nd patty on top of the 1st with the fixings and pat down. Be sure not to press too hard or the fixing will end up leaking out during grilling. (tip: fold over edges of patty and then do the "scoop" action to make it round.) Do this with all of the patties and grill. This tastes really good served with sauteed onions on grilled bakery buns.
